Band 7 Advanced Specialist PodiatristCommunity Provision Care Pathway Lead Foot ProtectionAn exciting opportunity has arisen within the NELFT Podiatry – East team, to work as Care Pathway Lead for Community Provision and to support the Podiatry Manager in delivering the service.We are looking for an enthusiastic, highly motivated and innovative care pathway lead to join our friendly Podiatry team within NELFT.Our Podiatry Department provides services to a high risk, multi-cultural population across the London boroughs of Barking & Dagenham and Havering.Main duties of the jobThe post holder will be a member of the local Community Podiatry Service who has podiatry skills and will be responsible for providing evidence based comprehensive assessment, review and treatment and support the team by delivering this service to the local high-risk population.The post holder will be working within agreed local care pathways, codes of practice and professional standards, and specifically embedding Clinical quality guidelines.Experienced podiatrists will provide specialist and complex podiatry care for a range of acute and chronic foot pathologies within community settings. The post holder will complement the service by using their first-class assessment, diagnostic and communication skills to develop programmes of care and their clinical expertise to implement treatment plans.Please read the attached Job Description & Personal Specification for further details.About usStarting with NELFTNELFT place a great deal of importance on new starters being properly welcomed and inducted into the Trust. All new starters will join the Trust on the first Monday of each month and will undertake a comprehensive induction of up to two weeks which will include mandatory training, systems training and the allocation of equipment. As part of the process new starters will have the opportunity to also meet the executive team, senior managers and attend a number of drop in sessions focussing in engagement, health and wellbeing and key processes.
